Smashmbomb's New Section (Famous Favorites)
As most of you know I am member of an awesome site that lets you rate hundreds, if not thousands of products
Categories that you can rate include, but are not limited to, films, music, tech, books, games etc...
The good thing about it is every day you get to rate 20 items from five different subjects.
If its books they could be biographies, horror, LGBTQ+ etc.
If its movies you could rate horror, drama, family classics etc.
Every category has lots of sub categories and rating them awards you points called Kudos.
Collecting these allows people to see how many items you rate and what people think of your ratings. Its a user friendly website that is well laid out with intuitive menus and categories.
There is lots more to discover but I don't want to spoil the fun :)
I am writing this blog to inform you of a new concept that they have introduced on their site and its called 'Famous Favourites'.
Its a section where you can see the top rated items in each section and also see how highly people rate everyday films, music, book, games etc...........
Just click this link and it will take you directly to the page
addendum :
I have just been on it and I am now in the process of adding some of my favourites. Have fun and enjoy :)

Eric Idle - Autobiography
Always Look on the Bright Side of Life: A Sortabiography by Eric Idle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Whenever i think of eric idle, two things come to mind. One is the obvious one, that he was one of the Monty Python team. The other is that he wrote and sang the theme tune for One Foot in the Grave. After reading this autobiography its clear i hardly had even scratched the surface. Over a very long career, he has starred in several movies including the brilliantly funny Nuns on the Run. He has written stage shows and plays. He has travelled around the world more times than Phillaes Fogg and he has met more famous people that i would have thought possible. In this book he tells it all from his early days writing, to organising the final Monty Python tour. He also covers the amazingly brilliant Spamalot (I saw it in Blackpool). He pulls no punches and his honest and frank appraisal of his behaviour is something you don't see very often. A very good read and very informative with lots of anecdotes and real life stories.
