Hey another win !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well what a Sunday........

Couldn't really sleep in as we knew we had company calling at about lunch time. Janet (friend) arrived at about 12.15pm and we had a good chat about everything under the sun and had a couple of drinks of tea as well. She left at about 2.30 as she was visiting her son and staying over for halloween.

Didn't watch the first of the two football matches. It was Newcastle against Sunderland and it ended 5-1 to Newcastle (good game so I have heard).

The second game was Liverpool (Yayyyyyyy) away to Bolton and Liverpool won 1-0. The game wasn't bad and there were a fair few chances but our players seemed to have lost the ability to score and apart from a 85th minute back heel which set up our goal Fernando Torres was way off key. Don't get me wrong as I think he is an awesome player but this season he really seems to be lacking confidence and his touch was awful. Steven Gerrard played ok but when chances fell to him he was also lacking in the shooting department. Bolton had a few half chances but it looked like the game was going to end in a draw before a clever move ended in Maxi scoring the only goal of the game. The three points were very welcome and lifted us out of the bottom three positions in the league. Phew !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We decided that we were going to have a night of TV and after Deb had watched her X Factor results we settled down to watch the final episode of Single Father. It really has been a good four part drama and the two leading actors (David Tennant and Suranne Jones) were really convincing in their roles.

We had a couple of trick or treaters, one of them being our friends Tony, Janet, Jackie and Tony's 10 year old son Kieran. They had really good costumes and were definitely convincing. We had the usual bowl of halloween treats with such lovely names as gooey eyeballs, body parts, and graveyard rock.............LOL
