Ok so time flies again

Well at least this post isnt a year after the last one this time :)

Its been almost six weeks and i can see Christmas fast approaching on the horizon.

I managed to finish my Dryathlon for September and raised £80 for Cancer Research UK.  It is my first year of doing it so i am really pleased.  I might do it again some time next year but definitely not in December (need to get my christmas spirit)  LOL.

I have been writing a fair amount but I am still working on my second novel.  Health difficulties have restricted the amount of writing i can do at this lovely but cold time of the year.  I look outside today and once more there is a carpet of leaves on our decking.  The sky is blue but when i open the back door its obvious quite quickly how cold it is out there.

Me and Deb are doing good.  Got a lot planned for the coming months most set around the christmas festivities time.  We are hoping to go to a proper authentic christmas market and several other things that are happening around our area.  I am glad Halloween is over now and i can walk around the shops and not be disgusted at the christmas decorations being sold before halloween.  I mean i like christmas as much as anyone but when you go into shops in the middle of September and they are selling Christmas items, that is taking it too far in my opinion.

This year for Halloween we were invited next door by Tony and Michelle as they were having a small fancy dress Halloween Party.  I dont usually put too much effort into these things but this year i decided to.  I went as Freddie Kruger from The Nightmare on Elm Street Films.  I got the proper outfit including the glove and striped jumper.  Deb did a brilliant job of my make up as you can see from these pictures.

I think they look amazing and this is the first time Deb has ever done anything like this.  Deb went as a Haunted Victorian Doll and her outfit and make-up were amazing too.  She was that convincing that she actually won the prize for the best costume.  Again the pictures are below.  See what you think  :)

Well that is October out of the way and now we have the eight or nine week build up to Christmas.  Oops i almost forgot Bonfire Night.  We dont usually do anything on bonfire night to be honest.  Our dog Jess is terrified of them and every night they go off she crawls under my legs in the living room and stays there until she thinks it is safe to come out.  I used to like Bonfire nights when i was a child but these days there doesnt seem to be any community bonfires like we used to have when i was growing up in Bradeley (Stoke-On-Trent).  In those days everyone from two whole estates used to gather and socialise.  There would be stew, potatoes, drinks, everything you needed.  Unfortunately that has all gone now and health and safety has ruined it.

On a football note I can't believe how good my team are doing.  Liverpool sit third in the Premier League (only behind on goal difference) joint top with Manchester City and Arsenal.  We are on an 11 match unbeaten run in all competitions and have only lost one game in the premier league and that was to Burnley (2-0).  We are banging in goals left, right and centre and although we have only kept one clean sheet in the league we are doing really good.

Ah well no rest for the wicked.  Surveys to do and Amazon vouchers to earn.  If anyone is interested in earning doing surveys just message me and i can recommend some really good paying sites.

Family wise everyone appears to be doing well.  A friend of mine's dad was taken bad a few days ago but appears to be recovering well so I just have four words to say to him.

GET WELL SOON BAZZER !!!!!

He will soon be back on his feet and annoying the heck out of his son Ian Maddock  LOL
