Well when I was a kid
Remember the times I hid
And didn't do as I was bid

And when I was a teen
And life wasn't so supreme
But I lived as if in a dream

My twenties came at me too fast
And I thought that they would always last
But I blinked and they had passed

Now my thirties what a decade
All the choices that I made
My life no longer afraid

Now into my forties I stare
And I see my future there
And they will take me, I know not where
I wonder what memories
