Been there, done that

Do you know someone who irritates?
Someone who on your nerves grates
Suicide do they make you contemplate
These people that have been there, done that

When you talk to them do they
Not listen to a word you say?
And try to steal the very day
With the words been there done that

And no matter what you do
They have done it and better to
And tell you things you know aren’t true
You can guarantee they have been there and done that

If you’ve won a car lets say
They will have won one yesterday
And be driving round in it today
Because they have been there and done that

And what about the latest gadget
By the time you own it you can bet that they have had it
And they always show off, sad isn’t it
These people that have been there and don’t that

Every time you say something new
Something that Is good for you
They will spoil it and in a grand way too
By saying ‘been there done that’

So next time when the need to kill
Is a sweet remedy for the bitter pill
And even if you died you can bet they will
Have been there and done that too
