As the vampires coffin releases him
The lights in the houses all flicker
and dim
Expression on faces all appear grim
Be afraid for its Halloween
As witches fly in darkest night
Faces glowing in awesome fright
Candles glow with hellish white
Beware, its Halloween
Graves disturbed as hands emerge
Zombies from their crypts do surge
A terror night is on the verge
Hide its Halloween
So run and hide while you still can
Every woman and every man
For evil has a nasty plan
Its name is Halloween
