What a bloody horrible day weather wise. It started off dull and just got worse.
Well I had a lot of time on my hands so did a lot of coursework reading (and a little writing too).
Did some good surveys and lots of email.
Had a visit just after lunch off our friends Mick and Tony. They stayed for a couple of hours. A couple of drinks of tea, some decent conversation and a few laughs.
After they had gone was debating whether to go into town............
Didnt go and at about 4.30pm that decision was justified. It started raining and when I looked out.........well the best way i can describe it is it looked like a tropical storm. The wind was literally making the trees in the cemetry bow almost to the ground and the rain meant that visibility was like being in a car wash.....couldnt believe it, was like watching one of them tv shows about florida hurricanes.
In the evening did some talking on phone and more computer stuff (including a new consumer panel for Co-op).
Played for some time on Pogo and listened to Mike Oldfield again (this time the albums were the last part of Incantations, Platinum and the first two tracks of QE2)........his music got better through the years.
At about 11.30 we decided to watch a movie and settled down to watch X-men First Class, about an hour and thirty minutes into it at the moment and its not bad at all. Will write a review tomorrow if we get it finished tonight.
